Steven Van Muyen joined The Royal Canadian Legion National Headquarters in 2021 following a career as an Armoured Officer with the Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) based in Edmonton, Alberta. In 2025, he was appointed into his current position as Director, Corporate Services. Additionally, Steven serves as the Director of the National Remembrance Day Ceremony which takes place every November 11th at the National War Memorial in Ottawa, Canada.
He is married to his beautiful wife and current Logistics Officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Kimberly Van Muyen. Together they share two amazing children, Ava and Cole, who keep them busy with their extensive sport and social lives.
