Pilgrimages of Remembrance

Every two years, The Legion National Foundation selects a group of Canadians to participate in a Remembrance Pilgrimage. Once chosen, the pilgrims travel to France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, where they spend two weeks learning about the devastation of the First and Second World War. They visit battlefields, trenches, Normandy beaches, military cemeteries, museums, and attend memorial services in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

A pilgrimage leaves an indelible impact on anyone who participates and those selected are required to relate their experiences to Canadians upon their return.

If you are interested in taking part in a Pilgrimage of Remembrance, please contact us for more details.

Note that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Pilgrimage next year may be impacted. Check back regularly on our website and social channels for updates.
